I'm a new to practice DC. I've always heard that NCMIC was the best insurance company to handle my coverages. I have done some research to confirm that and found that Allied Professionals (NCC?) has a new negative outlook from AM Best. This doesn't sound good at all. Does anyone else know what the situation is with Allied? Viable company or on the brink of bankruptcy? NCMIC seems like a safe choice, but would like to hear from others.
